Cancellations and Running Late:
Kids run on an unpredictable schedule and therefore so do parents! If you can’t make your reserved appointment time, not to worry, a 15-minute grace period is given to families before your spot will be given to someone else. Just give us a call so we know you are on your way!

Bringing a Special Toy:
We always request that special toys stay in the child’s cubby to prevent sharing issues or traumatic losses. There is a tremendous variety of toys for all ages at Whirlwinds to keep even the busiest child having a blast!

Diapers and Potty-Breaks:
Whirlwinds kids do NOT have to be potty trained. If your child is still in diapers or pull-ups, please bring an extra with you. If your child is successfully potty training there are several encouraged potty breaks throughout the day. It is easy to become preoccupied with the energetic environment so a change of clothes is always appreciated.

Sniffles:
Our number one concern at Whirlwinds is to make each child’s visit enjoyable. We are very diligent with hand-washing, nose-wiping, and sanitizing both kids and toys. If your child is showing signs of an upset stomach or a fever up to 24-hours prior, please keep your child at home.

Drop-off and Pick up:
We encourage a smooth and fairly quick drop-off in order to emphasize the idea that our play space is a special place just for kids. If your child is having a tough transition, we will always call you. The same adult that dropped off a child will be expected to pick up that child at the end of their play time unless otherwise specified. If you are planning someone different to pick up, please let us know when you arrive who we should be expecting.
